Toddlers Program

12 - 36 Months

Toddlers

Our daily routine and lesson plans are constructed with each child’s development and comfort level in mind. Advantage Early Learning Center staff will work at each toddler's individual pace to ensure progress and productivity. There will be instruction, activities, and play sessions geared for both group participation and independent learning.

As children adapt and become comfortable with their environment, they endure greater independence and higher-level learning. While our staff monitors development and introduces new activities, we do so with a strong affection and constant reminder that parents entrust us to act with kindness, comfort, and positive reinforcement.

Food for Toddlers

Advantage will offer breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon and evening snack each day.

Our menu is on a 6 week rotation, with some seasonal changes.

Parents ARE allowed to bring in food for their children, as long as they are NUT FREE.

We allow both store bought foods AND homemade foods for the children.

What to Bring

Parents of infants and toddlers should bring diapers, wipes, and any ointment or lotion they may use. They should also have at least two changes of clothing. Everything should be clearly labeled with the child’s full name. We recommend comfortable and washable clothing and shoes that can be managed by the child. Most of our art supplies are washable but sometimes they do not come all the way out of clothing. We will do our best to protect your child’s clothing but there may be times when clothing may get stained.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD IN CLOTHING THAT YOU DO NOT WANT GETTING DIRTY.

Activities & Learning

The daily schedule consists of naptime, feeding, fine arts, physical activity, and educational lessons with books, puzzles, and age-appropriate toys. We encourage social interaction at our Circle Time as we learn to play, sing, and participate with one another.

Toddlers will begin working with the alphabet, numbers, and other important age-appropriate skills. As a group, we will partake in activities that influence social cooperation, cognitive learning, emotional and physical behavior. Individual lessons will also help children learn and play on their own. Potty training assistance is also provided for our older toddlers.
